Bio

Jen Norman, a singer/songwriter, out and proud lesbian artist, and new mom from St. Louis, Mo. 

With guitar in hand, Jen plays the soundtrack of her life, and shares her soul through music, as she writes and sings of love, heartbreak, loss, healing, and the creation of new life. 

In 2003, Jen began her recording career in Nashville, TN, under the production of Capitol management, and in 2006 she starting writing her own songs.  Her indie/folk/country rock style has continued to evolve throughout two full length, original CD’s, “Learning as I go,” in 2011, and “Speak through me,” in 2016, singles, “Grace,” & “Broken Bones,” (2021), and “Moon Baby,” (2022). 

Her latest single, “Moon Baby” is the love story of finding her soul mate, and their journey of creating their beautiful baby girl. 

She is working on a new, full length album in the Winter of 2023.

Jen has shared the stage with national artists such as Brittney Spencer, Natasha Bedingfield, Tiffany, Taylor Dayne, Andy Bell, Neon Trees, old Crow Medicine Show, Shaggy, the Temptations (regroup), Shannon Curtis, Kim Massie, and has shared the local stage with amazing artists such as Kristen Goodman, Summer Osborne, Devon Cahill, Emily Wallace, Big Bad Gina, Diane Richardson (formerly Girls with Guitars), Melissa Neels band, Sarah McCracken, Josie Lowder, and so many more. 

Jen includes, in her music, a little of all of her favorite genres, with some of her biggest influences being:  Brandi Carlile, Kasey Chambers, Lucinda Williams, Jack White, Nate Ruess, Ed Sheeran, the BoDeans, Alanis Morissette, Dolly Parton, Jason Marz, Eddie Vedder, Johnny Cash, & Pink Floyd.
